Neurodiversity Matters is ever-expanding, and all about embracing neurodivergent creatives. So we’re always looking for people to help grow our blog.

Here’s what we’re looking for right now:

Content Writers

Calling all content writers, new and experienced! We are looking for neurodivergent talent to create content for our website. We’ve split our requirements into two types below:

One-Time Submissions

If you want to write a one-time article, please  info@neurodiversitymatters.com with the following:

  • Your Name:
  • Experience of Neurodiversity:
  • Article Idea:

Please use the search bar on the website first to make sure your idea doesn’t already exist!

If accepted, we aim to publish your article within 28 days of submission as per our editorial policy.

You are permitted to republish the article, but please credit this website with a canonical link to avoid Google flagging your article as duplicated.

To avoid link abuse, we do not allow first-time writers to insert links in articles. We do however make as few edits as possible to keep the article’s original intent.

Regular Contributors

Fancy writing more often? For our regular contributors, you get:

  • Author bio with links to your own website and/or social media
  • Additional support and access to our Discord server
  • Free software and accessibility tools to help you do your job as easily as possible (subject to demand)

Please enquire at info@neurodiversitymatters.com with your experience of neurodiversity and let’s see what we can do together!

Amateur Volunteers

We need volunteers to help in other areas too – Basically whatever it takes to run a website!

If you have any of the below skills, we’d love to hear from you at info@neurodiversitymatters.com

  • WordPress Management
  • Technical SEO (e.g. Code Optimization)
  • On-Page SEO (e.g. Proofreading and Editing)
  • Off-Page SEO (e.g. Outreach, Social Media)

We offer skills swaps as a thank you for your input (e.g. creating content, mentorship, admin support).

Professionals

We are keen to network and collaborate with professionals with a direct interest in neurodiversity. Examples include (but not exclusively):

  • Academics
  • Industry leaders
  • Marketing Agencies
  • Web Developers
  • Media Journalists and Publishers
  • Established Content Creators and Blogsites
  • Neuro-friendly brands
  • Charities and Non-Profit Organizations

How You Can Help Us

We’re relatively new to the publishing game. But we want to get this right. We believe in our mission statement, that the future IS different. And we need your help.

We’d love to make this a full-time job, but that would mean scaling the website up 50x it’s current size, which is unimaginable as a one-man machine!

We simply don’t have the resources to scale up without your help.

Here is a list of ways you can help grow our brand, and in return, we will support yours in any way we can.

  • Fact-Checking Authority
  • Proofreading and Editing
  • Technical SEO
  • Off-Page SEO
  • Brand Collaborations
  • Podcasts and Interviews
  • Agency Guest Posting
  • Investment Opportunities

We will credit you as thanks for your services, and offer our own expertise and authority wherever possible. Unfortunately we are unable to pay for any services at this time.

Please get in touch via info@neurodiversitymatters.com if you’d like to connect with us and support us to discuss further.
