REALLY REALLY REAL, Matthew Armagost

Really Really Real
by Matthew Armagost

how Real can the Realness
 You speak of
  Really be?
because to me
 what is Real
ain't what it used to be.
Real isn't what
     I Hear
     Or See
     Or Smell
     Or Taste
     Or Feel
     Or Think
           Anymore.
I can't Trust
 my own Senses,
  yet I have
   enough Sense
    to not Trust
     Anyone Else
          Anymore.

I'll remove the tape
 this time,
  and I'll ask You
          Again:
                                       how Real can the Realness
                                                You speak of
                                                   Really be?
