News From A Different Kind Of Front

In 2010 I had an Internet sex cam problem
and now, in 2016, I just have a problem. 
The heat all rushes to the face. 
I don’t understand
why the word Internet
 is supposed to be capitalized 
but understand 
how Internet capitalizes. 
I am burning in certain areas. 
All rivers seem inaccessible. 
The kindling, the kerosene, 
once available thru shelter
has been consumed by this bacterial concept 
called self-eating. I get it: 
we’re delicious. Must it be advertised? 
Balloons float beneath my consciousness, 
of which there is very little. 
I invite strangers to events 
I’ve not yet convinced my body to attend.
